Barnens LekStad opened in new premises in December 2011 and is located in Kungälv, 20 km north of Gothenburg. We offer an educational indoor play centre for children of all ages, encouraging learning through play in our themed rooms. Grab a shopping trolley and shop in our grocery shop, or care for our soft toys as a vet in our animal hospital. Try working as a café assistant in our mini café, or get creative in our building workshop. On our large climbing frame, children big and small can burn off energy, whizz down our six-metre-high slide, play in the ball pit, jump on our trampolines or crawl through tunnels. Our latest addition is our sports court, reached via the climbing frame, where you can play football, basketball or handball. Under the climbing frame, we have a track with a marked-out roadway where you can borrow a bike. Don’t forget to fill up at our petrol pump. For younger children, we have a quieter toddler area, naturally with the same high safety standards as the rest of the climbing frame. On Tuesdays, we have drop-in singing and music sessions. Free for children aged 6–18 months. In our café area, we serve fresh food for those who would like a bite to eat. Of course, options for people with allergies are available. The café also offers coffee and sweet treats, including really good espresso. Take a seat in the café area or our lounge and connect to our wireless network/WiFi if you wish. Both the café and the lounge offer a good view of and easy access to the climbing frame. Barnens LekStad also offers parties in one of our popular party rooms (Skattkammaren, StarWars or Disco), with a menu of your choice.
